Keeping in view the needs of the people living in the far flung areas of Tehsil Karsog as well as from the point of view of imparting higher education, this college was established in 1994. New facilities have also been provided by this college for economically backward classes as well girl students in the field of higher education.

Geographically, on one hand this wide valley of Karsog reaches to the Shikari Devi peak (Hgt. 11000 ft.), at the same time this valley spreads down to Kao by touching the feet of Goddess Kamakasha. Thus this college is situated in such a suitable aesthetic environment.

This co-education institute is affiliated with Himachal Pradesh University Shimla and it provides facilities in Humanities, Commerce and carious branches of Science for the bachelor's degree. Inspite of being a new institute, we have a well qualified, hardworking and liberal staff who are always ready to highlight the hidden talent of students.

This college provides facilities including studies, cultural activities and value education. Apart from this encouragement is given for the all round development of student through sports, NSS and NCC prizes are distributed every year to encourage brilliant students of every fields.
